About Bob
Who is Bob Pearcy? That is little ol me, 69, but now another year is gone so I am 70. Those years passed to quickly, I have little formal education and a lot of experience. I posted about the "
old dog" a while back. I have enough experience that I should be able to stay out of trouble. They say experience is a great teacher if we will just learn from it. Actually if we will learn from others experience we can save ourselves a lot of pain and suffering.
I grew up on the farm, my dad taught me to do everything. We did our own repair work on tractors and equipment, plus what ever else needed done. On the farm you have to be a 'jack of all trades', you mechanic, weld, milk cows, operate farm equipment, dig ditch, pick fruit, load truck with produce, spray trees, prune trees, hoe weeds, bale hay, and many other things. It is better than any classroom and prepared me for the life ahead.
I have farmed, operated heavy equipment, drove truck, sold securities and mutual funds, built roads and dams, leveled land, skidded logs. Been a mechanic, machinist, volunteer chaplain in prisons, jails and mental hospitals, missionary in several foreign countries, webmaster and whatever else I needed to do.
I have had different hobbies such as ham radio, faceting gem stones, radio controlled airplanes, raced jalopy on the old dirt track, and other things, maybe some unmentionable.
The best thing that ever happened to me was a business deal I made with a customer of mine. I had a Mercedes Benz repair shop and this customer named Loren invited me to lunch. I knew this lunch was a religious thing and I didn't want anything to do with it. Two things I didn't talk about was religion and politics, especially religion. Anyway he kept at it for a long time and one day I told him I saw something I thought would help his health and invited him to a meeting.
Loren said "I'll go to your meeting if you will go to mine". He had me, what else could I do but go to lunch with him. Lunch was every Wednesday at Black Angus in Boise, a great place to eat but I saw something I had never seen before in the religion I grew up in. About forty guys shared the love of Christ with me. I had never experienced that love before, I had heard the gospel but the gospel without love is incomplete.
I ended up asking Christ into my heart and was forever changed, Praise God!
You know what?
That was the best business deal I ever made! And you know what else? I still don't talk about religion but love to talk about my LORD, and politics? Well I guess this blog tells the story there but if you look at the state of this once great country someone needs to speak out.
I have been blessed to share the love of Christ in jails, prisons, mental hospitals, in several nations in Asia and Central America and on the air waves of cb radio and ham radio. Have told my testimony at churches, business mens groups and on the streets of the world. He, the Lord has filled my life with friends and joy and love that I never knew before inviting Christ into my heart and making him my Savior and Lord.
What about you? Have you met my Lord? If not would you like to? Email me bob@bobpearcy.com or send me your phone number and I will call you. It won't cost you a dime and I will tell you of that love. You can also call me on Skype for free, I am 'brother-bob' on Skype.

Bob…this article on Soros that you posted was written by Jim O’Neill and posted first on Canada Free Press on September 15, 2009, not Steve Kroft. Kroft’s interview of Soros was cited, that is all.
Bob, This is a very important piece of literature. I am working on my Masters and I am currently working as a substitute teacher to make ends meet. I am a Vietnam Infantry War Veteran, highly decorated, including a Purple Heart. This spring, I was addressing a Psychology class, that was studying serial killers. I compared Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito having the same mentality as serial killers. I was shouted down by two 17-18 year old girls that were defending Hirohito. It cause a short classroom debate, which I stopped as soon as I could. The girls said America was guilty of killing innocent Japaneses. I tried to explain there was a lot more to it that what they know. I even asked them where did they learn their history about World War II but they were having none of it. Bottom line, they filed a complaint saying I was racist against all Asians, which as you know includes over fifty countries and cultures in the region and despite the fact that Hirohito ordered his thugs to butcher millions of Asians. I was kicked out of the high school and told the seniors in high school are to young to hear what I was saying. How about that? I will keep this writing forever with me so I can show the students. The invasion would of included my uncle and my father, I guess the girls don’t care the bomb saved their lives and many more Americans?!
Dear Mike,
The Republicans wanted to run Bill Clinton out of office for what he did in the Oral Office. George W. Bush invaded Iraq and killed thousands of innocent Iraqis and also is responsible for the deaths of thousands of American soldiers, all without moral justification. Harry Truman was a better husband to Bess than Bill to Hillary, but that’s no surprise.
Now, Truman dropped the first atomic weapons ever used in human history on two Japanese islands, killing thousands of innocent Japanese women, nursing babies, and old grannies, maimed thousands more, and induced cancerous tumors in thousands more than that. Also, that act unleased the nuclear arms race.
What, sir, would be wrong if our Blessed U.S. President, Truman, had not dropped the A-bombs, we’d lost the war, and now were eating sushi rather than McDonalds hamburgers, speaking Japanese, and dating and marrying HOT Asian women?
The war-mongering acts of Truman and W Bush are justified only by the following Philosophical Principle of American Just War theory: “Why do dogs lick their balls? Because they can.”
Had we lost World War II, Truman would have been tried as a war criminal in Tokyo, convicted, and hanged from his little neck until dead. Same with W Bush, who also is an uncharged war criminal.
The “conservatives” tried to run Clinton out of office because he lied about sex. W Bush lied about WMD and he’s still not been prosecuted. And Harry Truman is probably the biggest war criminal of all, apart from Adolph Hitler himself.
So, those high school 17 to 18-year-old girls actually had a good point which you might want to think about in your Masters of Art program. Perhaps they felt they had to shout their points at you because you so obviously have a Morally Tin Ear when it comes to the evaluation of the morality of American military intervention. Perhaps if you actually listened to what the young people were saying you might actually learn something.
Best regards,

Dear Bob,
As for Chinese workers building our bridges, why not? If the price is lower, and the product as good as anything a higher bidder would build, why shouldn’t government pay the lower price? Just because all that Chinese drywall was defective doesn’t mean the bridge will be a lemon. Think American Cars B.O. (Before Obama) bailed them out. Now they’re having a comeback.
You obviously don’t like Obama. Maybe that’s because he’s very well educated (Princeton, Harvard Law, President of Harvard Law Review) and you have “little formal education.” You obviously value experience over education, and sometimes that’s a wise choice. But not in U.S. Presidents. Consider the Bushes.
W allegedly had a Yale education, and his family had lots of presidential experience, but look how STUPID his decisions were. Ignoring the warning in August, 2010 about Osama preparing to attack the U.S. Invading Iraq due to WMD which weren’t there. Squandering the Clinton surplus. Letting Osama escape from Tora Bora.
It took Barry Hussein Obama to kill Osama. Barry Obama to “lead the world from behind” with Smart Warfare, Drone Attacks on Terrorists (even a U.S. citizen who some bleeding hearts claim should have been arrested and tried in a courtroom), spending only $1 billion of U.S. money to topple Col. Quaddafi, and pulling all U.S. troops out of Iraq in the next year.
I suspect your questioning the value of formal education is based on the sorry example of Mission Accomplished George W. Bush aka Alfred E. Newman. But Barry Obama’s another story, as I’m sure you’d agree if you actually got some informal education rather than always relying on your experience in yo’ Daddy’s barnyard.
You are what is known as an uneducated, unthinking-man’s conservative who desires to conserve your unused brain cells by not exercising them in formal education.
Anyway, Bob, you’ve got a first-rate first name, although you only have, I’m sorry to have to say, a last-place mind.
All best,
Bob Dutcher
