Is this our plan to make more jobs in the U.S. or is there an ulterior motive? Why would we hire Chinese companies to build bridges or anything else in the U.S.A.? Have you replaced your Prius battery? Or are you going to have to soon?

In times like this when money is getting harder to get and jobs can be hard to find we may have to help ourselves to fix things. I grew up on the farm and we always fixed our own machinery and vehicles unless really pressed for time such as harvest when every minute is important. I have remained like this and do my own work if at all possible. I just found this guide to teach you how to rebuild your battery and save about $3500. I do not own one but would like to. The cost of batteries has been a factor in my not having one. I don't know too much about the battery system in the Prius but a friend has two of them and his wife uses one for her mail route. They have had excellent luck with the Prius and I was impressed when I went on a short trip with him. 5o mpg would not be hard to take and the performance is great too. I received an email today that is apparently one this article talks about. It had a link that when I went to it was a google blogger site that apparently google has removed the blog, good for google! Warning form NACHA (The Electronic Payments Association) is below.

Fraudulent Emails Appearing to Come from NACHA (05/17/2011) Action Requested

Ensure that Frontline Staff Understand Sustained and Evolving Nature of Attacks Action Requested NACHA requests that financial institutions, billers, and payment providers ensure that their frontline staff — those who interact with customers — understand the sustained and evolving nature of these attacks. Organizations may wish to consider designating a focal point to coordinate communications and awareness internally and with customers. Kindly instruct customers to forward fraudulent emails they receive that appear to come from NACHA to abuse@nacha.org for analysis. Background Further to previous Members Memos and notices made available on our website since February 2011, NACHA has been the victim of sustained and evolving phishing attacks in which consumers and businesses are receiving emails that appear to come from NACHA. The attacks are occurring with greater frequency and increased sophistication. Perpetrators may also be exploiting email addresses recently stolen from Epsilon. These fraudulent emails typically make reference to an ACH transfer, payment, or transaction and contain a link or attachment that infects the computer with malicious code when clicked on by the email recipient. The contents of these fraudulent emails vary, with more recent examples including a counterfeit NACHA logo and the citation of NACHA’s physical mailing address and telephone number. NACHA itself does not process nor touch the ACH transactions that flow to and from organizations and financial institutions. NACHA does not send communications to persons or organizations about individual ACH transactions that they originate or receive. Caution your customers not to open attachments or follow Web links in unsolicited emails from unknown parties or from parties with whom they do not normally communicate, or that appear to be known but are suspicious or otherwise unusual. Direct them to forward suspected fraudulent emails appearing to come from NACHA toabuse@nacha.org to aid in our efforts with security experts and law enforcement officials to pursue the perpetrators. If malicious code is detected or suspected on a computer, consult with a computer security or anti-virus specialist to remove malicious code or re-install a clean image of the computer system. Always use anti-virus software and ensure that the virus signatures are automatically updated. Ensure that the computer operating systems and common software application security patches are installed and current. Additional information and guidance on phishing is available from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). I hope this helps someone keep from having trouble because of the scumbags doing this. and here is a sample of what I received today. NPR – We Are Paying For These People To Spread This Crap

Why do we continue to fund this stuff? I sometimes when driving where there is no other radio station like highway 93 in Nevada can find sometimes several NPR stations at the same time. I can seldom drive from Boise to Las Vegas without hearing NPR almost anywhere along the way. The garbage they push on there should not be funded by the citizens of the United States. How can we survive in tough times?

Do you need more income? Do you need to save on necessities? I do since I am retired and on a fixed income we continue to lose the buying power of what we have. I am sure you know why we lose the buying power of the dollar but if you are not sure we will talk about it a little. A good way to see what is happening with our dollar is to look at the price of everyday products. Things we need to survive like food, I do some of the grocery shopping in our home and have seen the cost continue to rise. Also if we go to the hardware store we find the same thing but if you look at the country where it is manufactured you will not find USA very often. We have become a country that does not manufacture much, we have sent those factories overseas or to Mexico. We have a service based economy. It's very hard to keep our heads above water with such a trade deficit as we have. We also have a government that wants to keep spending us into more debt, 14 trillion I guess at this time. How can we continue this kind of behavior? Anyway we will need to supplement our income and I always watch for ways to do this. I just found this company named Moolala which is a new start-up with no cost for you to join. How about tires, I guess some of you don't live where you need a car but here in Idaho it is pretty essential. I really got fed up with going to the tire store and everything they had was made elsewhere, China, Korea and who knows where else. I did find one company that has tires made in USA and I bought them. They are premium tires and of course I paid a premium price and am glad I did. I also bought the same brand when I replaced the tires on my Jeep, also premium tires with a premium price and they are lasting real good. I started trying to buy "made in USA" many years ago. In one store about 25 years ago I tried to find plumbing parts made in USA. I asked the the young sales helper if they had any made in USA and he said "no only China, what difference does it make they are good quality." I said when you don't have a job because we don't produce anything in this country, you will know why. I often wonder if he remembers that today. I keep looking for ways to make a little extra income and this morning got an email from a friend. He told me about a company that is starting up similar to Groupon. It costs nothing to join and it will be a little while before enough people sign up to start listing products, maybe February from what I have heard. The key is to get in now and just tell others about it because that is how it works. Groupon is this kind of business and has really grown. Take a look at Groupon if you are not familiar with it and you will have an idea what Moolala is going to be like. In his recent guest column regarding the impact of the health care bill, Paul Guppy of the Washington Policy Center claimed that a 3.8 percent tax on all home sales was a part of the recently passed legislation. This is inaccurate and needs to be corrected. The truth about the bill is that if you sell your home for a profit above the capital gains threshold of $250,000 per individual or $500,000 per couple then you would be required to pay the additional 3.8 percent tax on any gain realized over this threshold. Most people who sell their homes will not be impacted by these new regulations. This is not a new tax on every seller, and that correction needs to be made. This tax is aimed at so-called “high earners” – if you do not fall into that category you will not pay any extra taxes upon the sale of your home. That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home etc.

Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 (presumably after Obama’s reelection). You can thank Nancy, Harry and Barack and your local Democrat Congressman for this one. If you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes. Is this Hope & Change great or what? Does this stuff makes your November and 2012 votes more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the obamacare bill? Guess what, you aren't alone. There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it either (result of clandestine midnight voting for huge bills they've never read). AND, there are a few other surprises lurking.

Be sure to watch and listen very close, look at the characters involved in this one deal, you need to remember or write down some of the names then research them. Some links to see are George Soros, John Paulson, and others including Michel Dell who is not mentioned in the video but is an owner of OneWest also. Why do these "public servants" think they are all powerful, as if they can do whatever suits their fancy. I believe if obama is not stopped soon we may see the end of our republic before 2012.
