Let's stop Reid and his cronies, please read this and contact your senators as this message tells us.

As usual Reid is trying to push this through with out letting it be debated. Dear Bob, You may have missed my email yesterday afternoon. Since it’s urgent, I'm resending it. Harry Reid and John Boehner are conspiring to rush re-authorization of the mis-named Patriot Act through the Senate before the end of next week. Reid has called for an initial Senate vote to take place on Monday at 5pm (EDT). Please read my e-mail and then contact Sen. Jim Risch at (202) 224-2752 and Sen. Mike Crapo at (202) 224-6142 and demand they vote against cloture on the Motion to Proceed with the re-authorization of the Patriot Act. Thanks, -Dudley

Dear gun owner, Desperate to give a radically anti-gun White House the tools to spy on “domestic terrorists” – translate that to mean law-abiding gun owners like you and me-- Harry Reid (D-NV) and Obamacrats in Congress have conspired with Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) to ram an extension of the badly mis-named Patriot Act through Congress on Monday! Despite the resounding message that gun-owners and liberty advocates sent in the last election, it’s business as usual in Washington D.C. Senate Leader Harry Reid has scheduled a vote for 5pm (EDT) Monday afternoon on a Motion to Proceed to extend the anti-Patriot Act, the first major hurdle this freedom-shredding legislation must pass. If the Motion to Proceed passes, they could formally vote on and pass a four-year extension of the Patriot Act as early as Thursday! Why the secretive rush? Several of the more egregious provisions are set to expire on May 27, and the statist, Big Government types can’t allow that to happen. Re-authorization of the mis-named Patriot Act gives government jackboots more and more tools in their war on gun owners and gun rights activists, who Obamacrats smear as “Radical Extremists” and even “Domestic Terrorists.” Even a gesture as simple as placing a pro-gun bumper sticker on your car or supporting a pro-gun candidate makes you a potential “domestic terrorist” in the eyes of the Obamacrats currently running our government. That makes YOU a potential target of unconstitutional domestic spying. I hope you’re not confused by Washington’s political games. Let me be very clear, a vote for cloture (passage) of the Motion to Proceed on Monday is a vote to shred your rights. Obamacrats and their anti-liberty Republican stooges may hem and haw about how Monday’s vote is only “procedural,” but don’t be confused. An “Aye” vote on Monday is a vote to extend and re-authorize:

Roving, warrantless wiretaps of virtually EVERY form of electronic communication used by U.S. citizens.
Secret federal searches without warrants OR knowledge of the resident.
Blanket warrants for the search and seizure of all library records, without naming individual suspects or providing probable cause.
Judicial warrants replaced with “National Security Letters” signed by unaccountable Obama Administration bureaucrats and gag orders for those served with these letters which make it illegal to tell anyone about it — including your spouse and your priest!
Drastic expansion of the definition of “domestic terrorism,” which is sure to include gun owners.
Expands asset seizure to permit the taking of assets from anyone “suspected” of terrorism, even if that person is NEVER charged or sent to trial.
Lone wolf provisions which allow the government to spy on ANYONE even if they’re not associated with a terrorist organization or foreign national, without due process or notification.

The situation is dire…. …but, all is not completely lost. When the 90 day extension of the mis-named Patriot Act passed the Senate earlier this year, I didn’t think anyone, aside from Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), would oppose it. I’m glad to say I was wrong, and a bi-partisan coalition of 12 Senators led by Senators Paul and Mike Lee (R-UT) opposed the 90 day extension. Now is the time to act. Gun owners and liberty-lovers must turn up the heat in Washington. I need you to call both your U.S. Senators today, and DEMAND that they oppose ANY extension of the Patriot Act. Demand that they stand up for gun owners and protect your Constitutional rights. Time is short, and your inaction will almost certainly ensure we suffer through four more years of the freedom-shredding provisions of the mis-named Patriot Act. They only way to stop Monday’s vote is to make sure you’re heard loud and clear by your U.S. Senators. Here’s what you can do to join the fight against the mis-named Patriot Act:

Immediately contact your Senators at (202) 224-3121 and demand that they oppose re-authorization of the Patriot Act.
Forward this e-mail to your freedom-loving friends and family and ask them to call their Senators immediately.

Dear Bob, I recently re-read radical left-wing activist Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals (the anti-gun Left's political playbook). As you may know, our President, Barack Obama, spent years as a "community organizer" teaching the so-called "Alinsky Method" of organization in workshops and classes. In the "Tactics" chapter, Alinsky wrote this:

Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.

The radical Left has distilled this lesson into their favorite motto: "never let a crisis go to waste." You and I shouldn't be surprised to see that this President is using a highly-publicized lone wolf shooting in Arizona to try and grab power. "Consensus." "Commonsense." "Responsible." "Reform." "Agreement." These words have been uttered before. They are Alinsky words. They are code words for curbing our gun rights -- and if you and I have anything to say about it, this President will not succeed. Shrouding himself with the blood of innocents in Sunday's Arizona Daily Star, Obama calls for greatly expanding background checks and rewarding states who share sensitive gun ownership records with the behemoth Federal bureaucracy. NPR – We Are Paying For These People To Spread This Crap

Why do we continue to fund this stuff? I sometimes when driving where there is no other radio station like highway 93 in Nevada can find sometimes several NPR stations at the same time. I can seldom drive from Boise to Las Vegas without hearing NPR almost anywhere along the way. The garbage they push on there should not be funded by the citizens of the United States. Did these 5 Idaho State Senators vote no on nullification because of their campaign donations from big pharma?

Or are they chicken, afraid of big brother! It looks like we have the wrong people in office and should maybe even have a recall election for them. It is time to put a stop to this behavior in all our government.

Let’s Stop The Lame Duck

Can we stop a lame duck from pushing the legislation through that we don't want?

I sure hope we can, if not will it be possible to recind them after our new elected house and senate members are seated? We really need to get vocal about this subject and not sit back on our laurals after a pretty good win in this election.

Who Got Stimulated?

I received this in an email and decided it was too good not to post.
We have a little over one that is 1 week before we can change the direction these crooks have taken us.

Vote Them Out

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as FY 2010 and FY 2011.

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period: (below)

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the FY 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending.

After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets. If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself.

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and
then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

It is time for a REVOLUTION, it is time to Take Back Our Country. The crooks have been running it too long, they have nearly destroyed it and we have let them get away with it. Tell them NO MORE! This is WAR!

This video was posted on this site on August 24, 2009 and now over a year later we are ready to, or at least have the chance to KICK these CROOKS out. I don't know how many people sent tea bags to their congressional leaders but things have not gotten better in Washington and we have to take it back.

Don't send your so called leaders tea bags, vote them out, give them the boot and lets get the things that Thomas talks about on this video into action. We need to reverse almost everything that has been done in Washington for the last 100 years. Is it too late? It may be but if we don't try it will never happen.
