Questions About Federal Judge Ruling on Arizona Law
Where does this Judge get the authority to disable the recent border protection law placed by Arizona?
Read this post by a retired lawyer that has studied the Constitution for the United States of America.
ONLY the US Supreme Court has Constitutional Authority to Conduct the Trial of the Case Against Arizona & Governor Brewer.
And here is another quote from our founders which raises more questions to me.
"Each State, in ratifying the Constitution, is considered as a sovereign body, independent of all others, and only to be bound by its own voluntary act. In this relation, then, the new Constitution will, if established, be a FEDERAL, and not a NATIONAL constitution." --James Madison, Federalist No. 39
I know our government as we have it today is thumbing their nose's at the Constitution but who else is charged with upholding the Constitution besides them? Well for one the Sheriffs take an oath to do so and they are the highest official on the law since they are the only elected lawmen in the US. Also as I see it, we the people are to protect the Constitution for the United States of America. Is this not partially what the Second Amendment is about?
So I ask this question, what are WE going to do about it?
