I just received this from a friend, I tried to call the department of homeland security to see if it is real but could not get a person to talk to. I will include the email here without the originators name. Open Letter to Citizens President Obama likes to assure us that he's in charge -- unless something goes wrong. Well, something has gone terribly wrong! The Department of Homeland Security sent an "assessment" to law enforcement officials nationwide. It warns that "right wing extremists" may be planning acts of violence against the government. Likely suspects include Americans who object to higher taxes, federal intrusion into states' rights, abortion, and illegal immigration. Seems like they've described me and most Americans pretty well -- except for choosing violence as a way to achieve political goals, which is the province of ACORN, labor unions, and other left wing organizations. The assessment also warns that military veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan are good recruits to this right wing movement. This is the kind of hate that greeted many of our troops returning from Vietnam. It's coming from the same kind of people. Mainstream media has tried to ignore this; but the Washington Times -- thanks to a brave soul in DHS who will be fired if they find him -- has revealed the Obama administration for what it is, a fascist group that is trying to take over the United States.
