The Faith Of A Child

Today is the day we celebrate the resurrection of the King of Kings.

This young lad is very blessed to know the Savior at a young age. I wish I had been exposed to the Love of Christ when I was young. It is easier for a child to accept that love than when we get older and wiser. All I had heard was the 'law' but the bible tells you if we live by the law we will die by the law. I'll take the grace that was given to us when Jesus died for our sins if we accept it.

Jesus said when talking about the things of God in Luke 10:21 "At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I praise Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou didst hide these things from the wise and intelligent and didst reveal them to babes. Yes, Father, for thus it was well-pleasing in Thy sight".

This explains why it is hard for many highly educated people to accept the Savior.

We Are Spoiled in the Good Ol USA

Reading the Idaho Press-Tribune today, Eric Muhr in For the Record, reports that - Of the world's 17 leading nations, the United States tops the list for having the largest percentage of it's population living in poverty. I wonder if we don't have our wants and appetites set too high in this country. I have been in the third world as I am sure many of you have. I never went as a tourist and always have stayed or lived with or among the natives. Out where they have none of the things we think we can't live without, they have never had and never will. Do they miss them? No. Even many homeless people here live better than the general population in some places. The first time I spent time in several nations of Asia I came home and looked at how we live, how spoiled we are, the waste, and I got mad. We don't even appreciate the freedoms we have enjoyed in this great Republic we have and all we do is want, we become slaves of our wants. I think there is something in the Ten Commandments and other places in the Word of God about that but our government is telling us we can't have them anymore. I bet you have a Bible laying around somewhere though if you look hard enough, if you don't you can go to E-Sword and download an excellent program with lots of bibles and resources for free. I hope this raise's a few hackles, look around, read about the founding of this nation. A good book to start is "The Light and the Glory" by Peter Marshall and David Manuel.

We The People Stimulus Package

We the people have a task ahead of us that is very urgent. Now I am a Christian and I know the calling God has on my life. I know what is written in Revelation, that is a book in the Bible. We are told of the end times in that book and we can sit around and say there is nothing we can do, or God's in control. But do we not have a calling as responsible citizens of the U.S. A. to fight for our country?

In the post below "The real purpose of the 2nd amendment", Suzanna tells at the very end what the purpose is. That purpose has not changed since it was written. The warning from England below shows us what has happened since they 'gave up' their guns.

Folks, I think that the liberals as we call them, for the most part are not the wicked devils we make them out to be. I believe they have been very deceived, maybe looking for a purpose or someone to believe in. Mr. Obama is very talented, very convincing, and even thinks this is the right way to solve our problems. I think he is a pawn being used by the powers that be.

Do we have to stand by and let this country go to hell? I remember during and after WWII how this was a nation as the pledge of allegiance says, "one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all". We were united, we went into WWII with one purpose, to win. We all participated in one way or another. I don't remember during the war ever hearing people complain about not having gas for the car or not being able to buy a car or tires or many other things that were not available to the public or rationed like sugar that we had stamps that let us buy a limited amount of many things.

You know what? We came out of that war the most powerful, prosperous nation ever. We and our kids and grandkids who have lived through this period have been the most blessed people ever and we don't even appreciate it. We are so spoiled that we just sit by and let things happen that we have a responsibility to stop, to make it right, to protect our constitution and bill of rights. To put a stop to these illegals coming in and I guess now we will let these politicians give our social security that we have paid into all our lives. We have to pay their medical bills and feed them and educate the kids, even give them tuition free college when citizens of the US don't get that.

Now I am posting a speech by A video of Alan Keyes and what he thinks of Obama. Alan is a true patriot and is not afraid to tell it like it is. That is one reason he was not popular as a candidate a few years ago. Like the bible says, men want to have their ears tickled and that is what obama has done.
